• The battery life on the COOLPIX S3700 is approximately 240 shots. That is with normal use, using the flash approximately every other shot. If you are taking a lot of video, the number of still shots goes down as video takes up more processing, and therefore, battery power.

• Seems to do well, an initial charge lasted me a week or more and I shot videos as well.

• The battery held up great for taking VGA 640 x 480 pictures. I wanted to be able to email pictures to family quickly. I did not do videos so I can't say how it held up for those.
