Does it have automatic date stamp function null

The Nikon COOLPIX S3700 digital camera does have a Date Stamp option which can place "Date" or "Date and Time" on the image. Once you have set it to "On" it will automatically imprint any images you take with the camera's current "Date" or "Date and Time" until you turn the feature off. Imprinted dates form a permanent part of image data and cannot be deleted. The date and time cannot be imprinted on images after they have been captured.

Yes automatic date stamp can be turned on and off in the settings menu. Date and time or date alone options are available.
