“Can the battery be removed from this camera so a backup battery can be used. I have a S9500 and this feature works really well as sometimes I take a lot of pictures and might deplete a battery. Also if the battery is removable what kind is it.”

• Yes. The Nikon COOLPIX S7000 digital camera uses a Nikon EN-EL19 rechargeable li-ion battery which can be taken out and replaced with another battery.
