While the Nikon D3300 DSLR camera is capable of taking great images the key to getting your subject to stand out is based mostly on using the right lens. For instance, images of the moon would be best captured by using a telephoto lens, so that you can get as much detail as possible. A wide-angle telephoto will also work well for creating movies of a rocket launch as the subject can be tracked as it climbs into the sky. To learn more about which lenses would help you achieve the images you are trying to capture, please contact Nikon Support. You can also check out the Learn and Explore section on NikonUSA to find out more about taking images of the sky.
