Depends how you look at it. If you want to stay with the swivel screen you'd move up to the D5200, D5300, D5500 and then the current D5600. If you want to step up to a more Prosumer camera you'd go to the D7xxx series. There's been the D7000, D7100, D7200 and the current D7500. Or you could go to the top of the line DX series which is the D500. After that you are into full frame cameras.

The next step up from the D5100 would be the D7200. If you are partial to the swiveling LCD on the D5100, you might want to look at the D5500.
