No the LCD panel is fixed in place. It does not move. Hasn’t been a problem for my uses.

No. The Nikon D7200 has a Type B Brite Clear Matte Mark II monitor screen that is fixed in place. For times when you need to see what is on the screen from a different angle just connect it to a compatible smart device that is running the Nikon Wireless Mobile Utility (WMU) application. You can then use the app for remote viewing and shooting options.
