• The camera absolutely has a built-in flash and separate hot shoe. Strongly recommend purchasing a separate TTL Nikon compatable flash for the camera that will have a bounce feature. Although the built-in flash works well, it can’t bounce. Straight lighting from a flash is very harsh. Bounce flash is softer and can be diffused.

• The D7500 has a built-in flash as well as a hot-shoe for the use of accessory flashes.
