• Hi! I think the only way you could use this coffee machine to make hot chocolate is by adding the chocolate powder mix directly into your cup and just brew the cup size of your choice of hot water.

• Hello, We do not recommend putting the cocoa powder in the brew basket. With this being said, you can certainly brew water only, and then add powder to the hot water after it is poured into a cup. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team
