I want to use paper filter with ground coffee, But I know they don’t recommend using them with the permanent filter. So do you just not put the permanent filter in and you just put the paper filter in with the coffee? null

I put a paper filter inside the permanent filter. I didn’t use the paper filters at first, but always got the fine coffee grinds in the bottom of my cup/pot. So I prefer both at the same time.

I believe not putting the permanent filter in and using a paper filter would work.  I have not tried this but I feel like you would not have a problem.
