Hello Shar, Thank you so much for taking the time to ask such a great question! While this unit doesn’t have a dedicated preheat function, you can easily preheat it manually. Simply run the unit for three minutes before adding your food if your recipe calls for it.

Yes for three min. Push the preheat button sit the time for 3 min. And push the start button. Then when you are done with preheat, push the timer button for sit time the push the start button hope this helps.

No, you need to set temp and timer for 3 minutes to pre-heat, once pre-heated, add more time to air fry your food.
