You could put your tea or tea bags in basket or use k- pod cups to make a single tea

You sure can. For a single cup: Just put your tea bag in the cup and reduce the water by one ounce. Works great! For Iced Tea: I put the bags in the carafe and run just hot water. Let it steep and then pour over ice. I normally do a pitcher in less than 10 minutes
