“I did the priming of the coffee pot side nice and smooth super quiet, but when I went to prime the espresso side its a lot louder is this normal? Does everyone’s sound louder when brewing an espresso?”

Please try again later.Without hearing your machine, I can't say that the sound you're hearing is 'normal', but espresso machines use a higher water pressure to get the water through the pods. The coffee in the pods is ground to a much finer granularity and it's packed in the pods a bit. Whereas the coffee pot side is just using a standard drip brewing method. No force is required to get the water through the grounds, so that method of making coffee is much quieter than running the espresso side of the machine.
