It comes with two grates that you can stack so you have double layer. Dependimg on size of pork chops you could easily do 3 to 4 on a single layer. And if you locked the one on upside down, you may be able to place another layer on bottom of pot ( which would be in water/ juices). See photos. 3rd & 4th show upside down connection :-)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can cook that amount and I have cooked many meals with that amount of food. You will have to use the steam rack in two layers. The manual (search online for it) gives instructions how to cook in layers.
