“How does it do with smaller amounts of food? I feel like since the pitcher and bowl blades only have the 2 blades down low instead of the more typical 4 at the bottom (like on the small cup blade) that it might not do as well with smaller amounts of food.”

• Smaller amounts of liquid tend to work better with the small smoothie attachment because the blades are more like the "typical" 4-blade @ the bottom.
