“How does it do with smaller amounts of food? I feel like since the pitcher and bowl blades only have the 2 blades down low instead of the more typical 4 at the bottom (like on the small cup blade) that it might not do as well with smaller amounts of food.”

Smaller amounts of liquid tend to work better with the small smoothie attachment because the blades are more like the "typical" 4-blade @ the bottom.
