First, the Super Smash Bros. King Dedede Amiibo is mostly used for training customized fighters/characters on the Super Smash Bros. series. Second, it can be used certain other video game franchises as extra downloaded content, costumes, and/or etc. Last, some people that don't want to use the Amiibo for anything. The Amiibo can be displayed either in or out of the box, it was mostly loved by artists that admiring video game character's design and detailed craftmanship of the sculpter.
