Make sure you didn't use it yet and all numbers in card are correct

Was the card activated at the store? If the cashier didn’t activate the card it is invalid. Return to the store with your receipt and the ecard. If you don’t have a receipt, they can look up the purchase using whatever card you used for the payment.

Also may I suggest if you haven’t already, join the Best buy rewards program. And use it every time you make a purchase. You earn credit for discounts and every transaction you make is retrievable which can be looked up by your membership number or your phone number.
