• No. You charge your iWatch with this device. You won't need the iWatch Apple charger to plug into it. You could use that as a spare at your office or somewhere's else if you wanted.

• Maybe the product has changed since these answers, but I bought one today and the Apple Watch holder does not charge my watch unless I plug in the charger. The picture on the back of the box confirms this but I was hoping from these answers that it would charge without the cable. Disappointing.
