Regardless of what best buy claims, I can say I have been using this device to charge my iphone, airpods, and apple watch, all at the same time.

The part where you would charge your Apple Watch has its own separate cradle that you rest it on so it's not "on" the pad directly but rather adjacent so to speak. But it will definitely charge all 3 products. I charge my iPone 8 Plus and wireless AirPods on the "pad" portion and my Apple Watch 5 on the cradle behind the pad. All charge perfectly with no compatibility issues or anything like that.

So for example your AirPods and your phone on the wireless charging pad is 2 products and the Apple Watch has its own independent charging dock which always charges regardless if you have any products on the wireless charging pad
