Usually the new subscription days gets added to your current balance, but I don't know since it sounds like this wouldn't be apples to apples for number of devices. If that is the case, I would suggest contacting Norton directly either via online help or calling them and speaking to accounting. They can tell you how it would work. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I asked Norton "chat' the same question and they told me "yes". The new Norton won't start until your current Norton subscription runs out.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Add this product to your Norton account by entering the product key (25 digits). Then, in your account, remove the license of your about-to-expire software from your PCs Macs. Then, click on this new product (Norton Premium 10 Device) in your account and you'll see no devices are using any of the 10 licenses. It prompts you to download the software to one of your devices. Do that from this screen--download it to each of your PCs and Macs. The full product downloads and simply overwrites your existing version. The install takes a second, literally. For tablets and phones, uninstall the existing Norton Mobile and VPN apps, then reinstall them from the play store and sign in to your Norton account. They'll automatically take one license per device.
