Seriously? Yes. 1. Get a good grip. 2. Hold tight. 3. Turn. Righty tighty, lefty loosy. I have small hands and open things. There’s always a way. If you have small hands, you should know this.

It can, but with difficulty. I have have medium sized hands and the jars and lids are very difficult to open... but they don't leak! I have to use a silicone oven mitt to open them.

It does have a rather large twist top and requires me to put in some power to seal it for blending
