A:AnswerThat was my experience. I waited for the add to cart button to show up after waiting, it showed up, I pressed add to cart within 2 seconds, and then it was gone again. Rinse and repeat 3 times, and 3 failures on add to cart.
Sadly, this waiting system probably helps bots if anything. The add to cart button is in a fixed location, and it’s very easy to script a bot to click on color change at a specific x/y coordinate. I was doing scripts like that in video games 10 years ago. Sadly, I think the net result on this anti-bot system is that it actually helps bots more than people. Maybe it helped the first week after it was implemented, but I’m 100% sure people updated the bot scripts and bots are still buying all the stock. I think removing the system would actually help real people more at this point, or to implement a more advance system, perhaps sms code or something like that.
