• The shield is its own streaming unit that can also do a fair bit more. You can download the Prime Video channel on this just fine. No extra hardware required.

• No...there is an Amazon Prime Video app you can download directly on the Nvidia Shield (any model).....no need for Firestick or Cube....

• No (assuming you're a prime customer), Prime Video is installed on the Shield. Just enter your log on info.

• You don't need either, just install the Amazon Prime app onto the Shield. You do need an Amazon Prime account to use it though.
