I agree 8 would be better and they may release one in the future. I have not had mine that long but it has been impressive, i use it more for streaming and it has done really good for me so far. My thoughts are that the 3GB is more for holding apps and for some cache when streaming. These have been holding their price for some time now even for resale and it has been better than my firestick so overall to me it has been a good investment.
