• No. In portrait mode it is unstable and the phone tips over.

• The kickstand is the only part of this grip I don’t really like. Because it’s circular, it’s hard to balance without it rolling around. It works better in landscape mode, though.

• Yes, you can you use the grip in both modes. However, the landscape mode will have your phone sit slightly lower based on the way that the kickstand is!
