“How does it connect to a computer? I purchased the recorder two weeks ago. There was no software or connecting cable with it. I thought it would connect to my computer with a mini USB to USB cable, but there is no mini USB port on the recorder. (The recorder this one replaced has a mini USB port.). I purchased an iPod shuffle USB Cable. This was the only cable that Best Buy on Dodge Street in Omaha NE had that would connect to the EAR port on the recorder and a USB plug. When I connect it to my computer and turn it on, nothing happens. It does not show up under "This PC" like the older recorder does. What do I need to buy or do to download the audio files from this recorder to my year old DELL computer running Windows 8?”
