“What makes this projector "Smart" as indicated in the product name? I can't seem to find anything in the specs that would indicate smart capability.”

it's not mentioned in the name it is not a smart projector at all.

Please try again later.good question and likely a mistake in the title. while this a good value 1080P quality projector, I too cannot find anything about the specs that would indicate it is 'smart'; -- the rest of the product details on this best buy page seem accurate. Normally when Optoma references 'smart' it has to do with the newer 4K-UHD models that have built in Alexa or Google home voice control capabilities.
