“We had to quit using another brand's air fryer because the non-stick surface (?) and the elevated base would not clean completely. How does this unit clean up? We tried everything to get the cooked on food residue out of our other units.”

To clean this air fryer, you have to wash the removable cooking basket, cooking tray and handle with warm soapy water using a cloth, sponge or non-abrasive brush or on the dishwasher. • The basket of my Oster 5qt. Air Fryer is non stick. The food still gets cooked on there but I put it in the sink and let it soak for a short while. It also says on instructions that it can go in the dishwasher.
