“What setting do a use for making pureed food? That is the main thing I need a blender for, the old blender I am replacing had a "puree" setting, but this one doesn't and nothing I can find in the basic in-box instructions or online manual tells me.”

Thank you for reaching out to Oster®. This blender doesn't have a puree setting but it has powerful motor that starts up with 1200 watts of power that consistently crushes ice, pulverizes greens and turns frozen fruit into a smooth sorbet. Have a great day!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This blender doesn't have a puree setting. I use a food processor for making pureed Foods. I don't think this blender high speed is fast enough to puree foods. It does make smoothes okay.
