• depend on disaster, a normal drop provide protection I drop my phone in day 2-3 times from my desk and its provide protection.

• Yes! My daughters have dropped their phones in this type case on our concrete driveway, in the street, wherever, and we have not had damage to the screens , phone or even the case. This is the only type case I buy whenever they upgrade their phones and they love them! We have used them on Iphone, Galaxy, and Motorola.

• So far YES and I have dropped the phone 3 times already - twice in a parking lot! Ugh! Still looking new!
