• Apparently they are the same, one being the latest model of the same molded pieces... Possibly packaged a little differently. And Possibly just the difference between the Mfg Model number, and Best buy's stock number... They appear and function exactly the same with no discernible difference.

• Yes it is. The belt clip was expanded to fit a 1-1/2 inch belt which is an improvement over the Otterbox for the 5S phones.

• Looks like it . Not sure of the other model . Otter box makes great cases have not had a problem with any of them.this is not my first otter box .I use them and my friends uses them. They protect the phone. I do recommend using them. I have had problems with other cases not protecting my cell phone.

• Nope, this is a lighter version with less cushion surrounding the phone. Still recommend but I think the defender would provide better protection in the end.
