Is it pastel pink or a darker/hotter pink? null

It's a darker/hot pink color with some cream around the screen. Nice thick quality incase it's dropped.

The case is more of a darker pastel pink. Hope this helps.

It's closer to a hot pink, but not in the 90's Lisa Frank neon kind of way.
