what color is this? why is it called 'hybrid'? null

This is the Defender series case. I do not know why is says hybrid, but it is not the color. I ordered black and gray, which is the colors shown. This style snaps a hard shell over your iphone, then has rubber wrapping over the hard case. It also has a belt clip that snaps onto the case.
