• Yes, it should have a pop socket, mine came with one, seems like yours is a defect and should be returned to the company for a replacement.

• Yes, mine has a pop socket, ideal for watching a video the phone is propped up and stays in position for comfortable viewing, it is cool feature, if you do not have the pop socket, it really it is not necessary for protecting your device but for comfort watching a video without using your hands
