• The back has a slight haze to it. My phone is Rose Gold and the area around the camera that is not covered by the back looks to be the same color as the rest of the back of the phone that is covered by the case. I don't have any experience with the matte black phone. Sorry.

• i have the matt black phone it makes it look kinda,grey but u can clearly see the apple in the middle, if its covered usually a deal breaker why i went with clear case. Also it claimes the case wont yellow due to sun exposure. see how that goes
