Yes to an extent, the side walls come up kind of around the sides of the phone. Wouldn’t protect your screen if your phone fell directly onto the screen.

It protects the back of the phone more than the front, I would recommend a screen protector as well as the case!

It does not have a screen protector with it. However, the sides protrude just enough that it helps buffer and protect when dropped.
