Does this still require a shield for the screen? null

No, there’s no plastic screen shield or requirement for a screen protector

This product does not come with a screen protector. I added one on my own.

Yes. The case doesn’t cover the front screen and I would definitely recommend a screen protector

The raised lip gives screen protection but I still added a screen protective shield as added protection.

I did have to get a separate screen protector.

The edge lip sticks up 3-5mm above the screen level so I don’t feel a screen protector is really necessary. But I’m sure others will feel different.

Yes, you need to buy your shield separately. It is not included with this case.
