• My opinion here is only as a bystander and not a medical professional... but hardened epoxy is one of the HARDEST coatings around and used on all sorts of food grade products. Epoxy is only noxious in it's chemical resin, unhardened form.

• All I can say is they have been making them this way since microwave ovens were new and I have never heard of any health related issues.

• That is a very good question. Not sure and I don't know how to find the answer to that question. I'm assuming it's safe, otherwise I wouldn't have bought this product.
