Yes. This 4K blu ray player upscale dvd’s. An excellent blu rsy player.

It also upscales Standard Definition 480p DVD's, but in my experience, visual improvement depends upon the quality of the original SD DVD. Note: I also have an OPPO 205, and the Panasonic upscales SD DVD's as well as the OPPO.
