This model includes two handsets, so please test both to determine if the issue occurs with one or both. If it happens with both handsets, try initiating an intercom call between them to check if the issue persists; if the intercom works, the problem may be related to the telephone line. If the problem continues during intercom, test the handset on speaker mode during a call to verify if you can hear sound. If you still encounter issues, it could be related to the hardware component of the ear speaker. In such cases, servicing may be required. -M
