QuestionI am assuming that the phone answering system needs to be turned off to receive voicemails offered by my phone service provider? And, am I able to use my phone service provider for voicemails instead of your phone answering system? Thanks!

- Answer Hi! You can actually use both the answering machine and the voicemail system, at the same time. You just need to set the number of rings for each one. For example, if you want your answering machine to pick up at 4 rings, set the ring count to 4, and then set the voicemail ring count to a higher number. This is in case you are already on the phone talking to someone else, the voicemail can pick up as a second option. -A

QuestionHello boy landline sure means something different now a days. I have Xfinity as my provider and it doesn't have the old fashioned plug in a telephone cord option. According to them it's works by wifi so they say I only plug the base to electric outlet?

- Answer Hi Chris! The Panasonic phones cannot be connected through wifi, however, you can use a telephone cable between your router from Xfinity and plug it in the Panasonic base. -A

- Answer In addition to the standard manual call block function, this model offers two additional options for call blocking. One of these features is automated call block. With automated call block, the device screens incoming calls before ringing for permitted calls, or it terminates calls without ringing for calls identified as robocalls, telemarketing calls, or other unwanted calls (available for Caller ID subscribers). The unit plays a greeting message for automated call block and prompts the caller to enter an access code to determine if the call is automated. Additionally, you can utilize Telemarketing call block to further filter calls and prevent telemarketer calls from reaching you. With this feature, the unit prompts callers to announce their names, and after verifying the names, you can choose whether to answer the calls or not. Both these features can be turned off. -M

- Answer Hello! This model has an Audible Message Alert feature. This feature allows the base unit to beep to inform you of a new message arrival when new messages are recorded. The base unit beeps 2 times every minute until you listen to the messages, if the “Base unit beep” setting is turned on. -M
