The steps are as follows: <press> MENU, <press> up arrow to Settings, <press> SELECT, <press> down arrow to Talking Caller ID <press> SELECT, highlight Handset or Base unit, select On/Off, <press> SAVE, <press> OFF to return of main screen. A:AnswerHit menu and then Scroll down to settings, and hit select and then scroll to Ring adjustments and scroll down to ring tone, incoming and then you will have your lists. Note: you can have different tones for each handset (but I find that irritating).
