- Answer Purchased this for my 92 year old father in law that wears hearing aids and he is happy with this phone and can hear with no problems. My husband is half deaf and also wears hearing aids and he has no problem hearing on this phone as it does have a volume control. Good luck!

- Answer yes, it does announce. The sound on calls is inconsistent. Volume in handset cannot be set at fixed level.

- Answer Hi Monika, the speaker phone button is located on the handset bottom left hand side. Press the speaker phone button to turn it on. You, do not have to access the menu to use the speaker phone. Yes, the menu is relatively simple if you follow the instructions.

- Answer Hello! Once the caller enters the access code, the caller's phone number is memorized in the allowed number database as an unblocked number. Callers from this database are allowed to connect without the access code from their next call.
