- Answer Hello Carol! You can transfer calls manually to your cell phone, during the call if the cell phone is connected via Bluetooth. You can connect 2 cell phone to the base unit, one to the Cell 1 slot and the other to the Cell 2 slot. You can also connect a Bluetooth headset to the phone system, if it supports HeadSet Profile (HSP) specification. Hope this helps! - S

- Answer Hello and thank you for your question! If you wish to deactivate the automated call blocker please press Menu on a handset, then press the # key and enter 787. Then please select the option that say "Unblock" and make sure to press Save. - S

QuestionAre you able to hear the caller’s message as they’re leaving their message on the answering machine? As in screening? I need to be able to call home and alert parent by use of answering machine by leaving a message in real time.

- Answer Hello Nic! The KX-TGF882B phone system has the call screening option available. The default setting is On, so if you leave a message it will be played out loud in real time. Hope this helps! - S

- Answer Hello. As the phone system was not tested for this type of usage, only with a landline connection, we encourage you to check directly with the telephone service provider for information. Please note that if you encounter issues with the sound or related to Caller ID services when using VoIP, the phone may require a DSL/ADSL filter to be installed on the line by your telephone service provider. The system can be used to select choices on automated systems if the DTMF tones are set up properly by your telephone service provider. - S

- Answer Hello! You can insert 2 AAA (R03) batteries (not supplied) into the base unit that will power the unit temporarily in the event of a power failure. Only insert alkaline batteries once a power failure occurs. Remove the alkaline batteries when power is restored. The main base unit is powered by an AC adaptor and does not require batteries. - Answer Hello Phil! For the intercom feature you do not need a phone number. An intercom call is a call between the handsets or the base unit and a handset. You can make intercom calls when at least 2 handsets are registered to the system, or one handset and one base unit. Hope this helps! - S
