• It is only controlled through an app on phones or mobile devices. Unfortunately it was not compatible with the particular device we were trying to use so it sat in a box and got returned.

• you must connect it to your phone, it uses an app available from both the Apple Store and Google Play to use as the controller. It does not come with a controller

• The photo of the box, bottom left hand corner says "Smart Phone Control" so I would think so.
