• you can but anything that restricts airflow around the food affects results

• you can, but beware container will get VERY hot and may require food turning if cooking something crispy, bottom will get soggy due to container restricting air circulation, this is the primary benefit and operation of this unit (hot air circulation which any container would restrict)

• No, dishes wont go in it. IT is a basket just like a regular fryer just no oil. If you put aluminum foil in it I think it will block the air flow.

• You can use microwave or oven dishes in the fryer, but I'm not sure about Aluminium foil.

• Aluminum should be OK. It's very small but I do not see an issue with using dishes. But, like I said. It's a very small space.
