Yes and No. If you hit "settings" on the remote, use the arrow keys to select Bluetooth, hit "enter", use the left or right arrow key to select "off" and hit "enter" again. The Bluetooth will remain off unless you select Bluetooth on the stereo or remote or select Pioneer SX-10AE on your phone while the stereo is on. Once it is on, you need to manually switch back your input on the stereo or remote. Another hint, turn the auto-standby off while using Bluetooth or the stereo will turn off in 20 minutes when playing Bluetooth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it is always on transmitting out for devices. Once you activate pairing mode that stays on... But you can press the fm/am keys on the remote control or on the unit to turn the FM or AM features on..
