“hi can i use a wireless headphone (BT) AND leave the TV speakers on at the same time? normally the TV speakers shut off automatically when I plug in (optical out / headphone jack / other audio out), and this is not what I want. thanks”

Try to use a Bluetooth transmitter, that supports 2 devices, to hook up headphones and a soundbar at the same time.
