You need to vacuum out the ash pit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you need to make sure you ash pot is empty between cooks. dont leave your pellets in the smoker if your cooking is months apart. The humidity will cause them to swell and jam up your auger. Keep covered so the rain does not do the same thing to the pellets.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The maintenance is spelled out clearly in the manual, and it is simple: wipe off the water tray and shelves, and vacuum or wipe out the ashes. The Pit Boss makes a clean smoke. You'll be surprised how clean it remains after you smoke because there is no black soot like some smokers and grilles produce. Truly a well designed machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope - Ive had mine for 6 years now and as long as the bottom drip pan is kept clean, the smoker is well seasoned.
