Yes you can and obviously have the required usb input on your stereo unit and as long as you save your music files in the proper format, mp3 is usually the format that is used to read the music files on most automotive sound systems, it should have that printed on your car stereo unit. MP3 files don’t take a lot of data space so you can store hours of music on the usb drive, 100s if not 1000s of songs. Since you have a modern unit you should be able to select files by name much like your cd display’s the track names.
