Does anyone know the Read/Write speeds? I don't know if mine is defective but it is taking hours to write 7 gigs to it. null

These drives are USB 2.0, meaning that their read speed is around 10-25 Mbps, while the read speed is 3-10 Mbps. These speeds may change based on the specifications of your device, I.E. if your device has USB 1.0 and not USB 2.0. USB 1.0's data transfer rate is around 1.5 Mbps.

I don't know what the actual speed is, but they are USB 2.0, so not the fastest current model.

That depends on a lot of things but it's listed in the "Overview" of product.  "High performance and fast sustained data transfer rates
Up to 480 Mbps (using USB 2.0)"

I don't know the exact speed but it shouldn't take that long except that these are USB 2 and not USB 3. That will slow down the write time quite a bit.
